The police said that the accused, after killing his wife, took her to hospital with the help of friends and family members and then surrendered. According to the Vakola police, the accused, Rock D’Souza, and his wife, Violet (57), stayed in Sunder Nagar and had been married for the past 35 years. A team of policemen reached the hospital at 11.30 p.m. and took Rock into custody.
