SINGAPORE: A 63-year-old man has been arrested for stealing undergarments from clotheslines in a series of cases in Bukit Batok here. The police had received a report of theft of undergarments at Block 106, Bukit Batok Central, on Feb 22, they said on Tuesday (Feb 27). Preliminary investigations revealed that he is believed to be involved in other similar cases in Bukit Batok estate. The man then bent down and went through the clothes, before removing some clothing from the laundry rack. Li alleged that it was the fifth time such underwear theft had occurred at his home.
