The ruling Awami League started selling nomination forms among the aspirants for the reserved seats for women from Tuesday morning. Awami League General Secretary Obaidul Quader inaugurated the sales of nomination forms by handing over nomination papers to aspirants Nargis Rahman, Khaleda Khanam, Shamim Sultana and Faridunnahar Laily. The sale will continue until January 18 (Friday) and the aspirants can purchase the nomination forms after depositing Tk30,000. The Election Commissionwill announce election schedule on February 17 for 50 reserved seats of the 11th parliament, exclusively for women. Directly-elected members of parliament are voters for the reserved seats in the parliament.
