Hamilton police say a 60-year-old man is dead following a stabbing outside a Cannon Street convenience store Sunday night. A 36-year-old Hamilton woman has been arrested and will face a charge of second-degree murder, according to Det. Police were investigating an unrelated incident nearby and were able to respond within a minute, said Bereziuk. The woman tried to get away, but was arrested without incident because of the quick response time, said Bereziuk. The 60 year-old's death marks the 12th homicide in Hamilton this year and the second in Hamilton in a week.
