Nateshwar UP Chairman Kabir Hossain and Sonaimuri police station OC Abdus Samad confirmed the victims’ identities on Thursday. Among the six, two brothers, Masudur Rahman Raju, 28, and Masud Rana, 30, hailed from the union’s Ghoshkamta area. UP Chairman Kabir Hossain also said at least 3,ooo residents of Nateshwar union work in Dhaka, including in the Chawkbazar area, so the number of victims and injured hailing from the union may rise. Sorrow has overcast the union as victims’ family members and relatives broke down after their identities were confirmed.
