6 to die for killing man in MymensinghMYMENSINGH, Aug 3, 2023 (BSS) - A court here today sentenced six people to death sentence and two others to life-term imprisonment for murdering a man in 2018. The convicts awarded death sentence are Mobarok Member, Tofazzel Hossain, Rubel Mia, Selim, Shohag and Edris Ali. The convicts who got life-term imprisonment are Mofazzel Hossain Rubel and Dulal Mia. The court also fined each of the convicts awarded death sentence Tk 50000 and convicts got life term Tk 20000. If they are unable to pay the amount they will have to serve more three months in jail.
