The Italian has cut a dejected figure all season with the champions failing to muster a strong title defence. Despite an FA Cup still to win and a year to run on his contract, the likelihood is a premature divorce between Conte and the club this summer. There will be no shortage of candidates willing to take up the opportunity to turn the Blues around though. Unlike Conte, the former Milan, PSG and Real Madrid boss is accustomed and seemingly willing to work as a head coach without considerable input on signings.
