The convicts are Dulal Uddin, his wife Minara Khatun, Md Mithu, Md Tota, Ranju and Md Bulbul. Special Public Prosecutor (PP) Shafiqul Islam Rentu confirmed the matter and said that the accused Tota and Mithu were sentenced to life imprisonment and fined Tk 50,000. The other four accused were jailed and fined Tk 10,000. Later, Saidar’s mother Sufia Khatun filed a murder case with Paba police station.
