At least six people were killed in a collision between a bus and an autorickshaw in Jessore on Friday. The incident took place at around 7pm in the district's Sadar Upazila. Five of the victims belong to the same family, said Kotwali police station Officer-in-Charge Tajul Islam. The identities of the victims could not be known yet, he added. Police and members of the local fire service have sent the bodies to Jessore General Hospital.
