In Chittagong, the Bangladesh Coast Guard detained two drug dealers with 150,000 yaba pills from the Sangu river estuary in Anwara upazila. "We have also detained two main yaba dealers from the scene who owned up to smuggling the yaba pills to different parts of the country," he added. In Narayanganj, Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) detained four drug dealers with 47,000 yaba pills in a drive, from the Rafi Filling Station area in Bandar upazila. "The detained owned up to smuggling yaba pills and legal action will be taken against them, '' he added.
