Detective Branch (DB) has arrested six people including the prime accused Harunur Rashid Jewel from Badda area in connection with the case for killing four people in the capital’s Badda. The other arrestees were identified as Mojahidul Islam, Shafayet Ullah alias Shohag, Rahat Hossain Kabbo, Iqbal Ahmed Rana and Shaporan Hossain Raji. Additional Commissioner, Monirul Islam, confirmed the identities of the suspects in a press briefing. He said: “We have investigated this case and found Jewel involved directly. He shot the victims.”After knowing the whereabouts of the suspects from an unnamed source, DB police raided a few areas including Badda and arrested them on Sunday.
