TAYTAY, Rizal: Six people died while 19 others were injured after a 10-wheeler container truck plowed into a tricycle terminal and a row of stores along Cabrera Road in Barangay Dolores here at about 9 a.m. on Saturday. Taytay Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction Management Office (MDRRMO) chief, Elmer Espiritu, said the truck (TBP 967) reportedly lost control as it overtook a tricycle and drove straight into a row of establishments. Four injured victims were brought to the Manila East Medical Center, while 15 others, including a child, were rushed to Taytay Emergency Hospital. Investigators withheld the identities of the dead victims pending notices to their respective families. GABRIELA BARON
