Uluru–Kata Tjuta National Park sits in Australia’s Red Centre and is co-managed with the Anangu people. Uluru rises 348 metres above the desert floor and changes colour through the day. Nearby Kata Tjuta consists of 36 large rock domes with walking trails such as the Valley of the Winds. The park offers cultural tours that explain Tjukurpa, the traditional law and stories of the land. The dry months from May to October are the most suitable for visits.
