(File photo)Police arrested 58 people and seized over HK$700,000 worth of goods in an anti-crime operation. 42 men and 16 women aged between 21 and 69 years old are arrested, some of which have triad backgrounds. They were arrested for offenses including damaging properties, fighting in public, illegal immigration, operating unlawful gambling establishments, and selling liquors without a license. Mong Kok District Anti-triad squad (Team 1) commanding officer, Inspector Chan Yan-leung, said that some of the arrested violated the social gathering ban.
