At least 55 Ethiopian nationals are being held in Morogoro Region after they were abandoned at Mkambarani, Mikese, Morogoro Rural District, by an unidentified driver of a truck they were using heading to South Africa. Morogoro Regional Police Commander Fortunatus Muslimu told reporters yesterday that the Ethiopian nationals were caught on Monday morning. “While in the containers they set on their journey and entered our country aiming to reach South Africa. That was when the driver pulled over, opened the door and abandoned them as some migrants fell unconscious.
