54th birthday: Lagos PDP sets free education, other agenda for Sanwo-Olu

Lagos State chapter of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has called on the state governor, Mr Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu, to use the occasion of the celebration of his 54th birthday to touch the lives of the less privileged in the society like some people in privileged positions used to do. PDP said it expected Governor Sanwo-Olu to announce some largesse, including free education as well as slashing of school fees by 60per cent especially in tertiary institutions, even as it noted that till now his campaign promise to give free internet service to the people had yet to be met. “It is usual that the birthday celebration is used by the privileged to touch the lives of less privileged. Like other governors would announce largesse for their people, we expected Mr Sanwoolu to declare free education in the state; announce 60% slash in especially the tertiary institutions,” PDP said. “Till now his campaign promise to give free internet service has not been fulfilled,” the party recalled.
