Acting on a tip-off, Dan Sai district chief Prayoon Aranrut led rangers and border patrol policemen to check a hillside plantation behind Ban Na Nam Thuam village in Tambon Na Hor at 6pm. The plants, which were from 30 cm to 2.30 metres tall, were found among corn plants. Three homemade riles and two “bongs” ¬- bamboo marijuana smoking devices - were also found. The authorities have yet to question the plantation owner.
