Medical check-up of Goregaon police station staff on Republic Day revealed that more than half are obese and follow an unhealthy lifestyle. Out of 62 police staff, including male and female, who were examined during the check-up, 48 of them were found to be obese. A team from Dr Pradeep Gadge’s Diabetes Care Centre organized a diabetes awareness & check up camp at Goregaon police station on January 26. The medical survey highlights that Goregaon police are obese due to stress and improper dietary habits. According to Gadge, they are planning to conduct medical check-up in other police stations of the city in future.
