At least five workers have suffered burn injuries after a gas line exploded at a steel mill at Narayanganj Sadar's Siddhirganj. The incident occurred at the Sharmin Steel Ltd factory in Godenail around 4:30 am on Saturday, said Siddhirganj Police Station chief Golam Mostafa. The victims have been identified as Saiful Islam, 30, Iqbal Hossain, 25, Mozammel Haque, 30, Md Zakaria, 20, and Shariful Islam, 32. They are undergoing treatment at the Sheikh Hasina National Institute of Burn and Plastic Surgery in Dhaka.
