Lucknow: Five more people in the city tested positive for dengue on Tuesday, taking the total number of cases to 48.Two patients belonged to Gomtinagar while one each hailed from Manaknagar, Thakurganj and Bakshi Ka Talab. Health officials said that case sheets and documents of the two patients would be examined.Alarmed over the increasing number of dengue cases in the city, health officials pressed for prevention. CMO Yadav said, "As per protocol, patients showing any one symptom of dengue are exposed to the rapid test. If they test positive to dengue, their sample is sent for Elisa testing. Only 15 of the 106 patients eventually tested positive to dengue."
