5 found dead inside drug den in BulacanBy FREDERICK SILVERIOhome/News/Regions/At a Glance/5 found dead inside drug den in BulacanCITY OF SAN JOSE DEL MONTE, Bulacan: Five drug suspect were found dead with gunshot wounds in their bodies, believed to be victims of summary execution inside a house allegedly used as a drug den in Purok 4, Barangay San Pedro in this city on Thursday morning. Police Lt. Col. Orlando Castil Jr., city police chief, identified the victims as Juliet Fernandez, alleged maintainer of the drug den; Norberto Oden, 63, alleged cohort of Fernandez; Manuelito Bergonio, alias “Noknok,” 35, and included in the unified list of the Philippine National Police/Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency with a pending case of carnapping; one alias “Mel Diezel,” also on the said drug watchlist; and one unidentified fatality. Sergio Yumol, who lives in the neighborhood, discovered the bodies of the victims at the living room of the said house at about 6:10 a.m. The Bulacan Scene of the Crime Operatives led by Police Lt. Mario Lazaro recovered at the crime scene about 20 spent shells ammunition for various calibers and one large heat-sealed plastic containing seven small sachets of shabu.
