Offering charitable giving options, instead of gift buying options, is an increasingly popular choice for engaged couples, according to data from wedding registry websites. One site, a former subsidiary of JustGiving, reported a 130% increase in users of its charitable registry in 2015. A charitable giving option makes a lot of sense for older couples who have been living on their own for years before saying "I do." Wedding guests have warmed up to the idea of charitable giving, too.
