As an entrepreneur, you’ve probably spent many a night dreaming about life in the corner office. Yet, as companies grow and evolve (and become profitable), often the worker bees remain in the open office environment while the CEO, probably with a huge sigh of relief, leaves behind the hustle and bustle (and noise) and retreats to the corner office he’s been dreaming of the entire time. But here’s the thing I’ve learned during my first foray into an open office environment: The positives outweigh the negatives. Even as my company grows, and we move to new and bigger office space (which we will), my plan is to abandon the whole idea of a corner office and remain seated among my people. I can’t do that as effectively from the corner office.
