It’s especially a problematic issue for developing countries, countries that lack natural resources and islands. Recently, I had an opportunity to chat briefly about the future of the global energy market with Kirill Gichunts of H2 Energy Renaissance, a California-based company that’s expanding into Africa. Is the world energy market efficient and is there room for improvement? This means that over 65% of energy resources are wasted, dissipated as heat, during energy production. Low efficiency during energy production means more fossil fuels are burned which also unfortunately means more pollution.
