Strong tremors were felt in Pakistan's capital Islamabad, Kabul in Afghanistan and India's capital New Delhi, according to Reuters witnesses. Residents across Delhi-NCR and parts of north India reported mild tremors after the earthquake struck Afghanistan, prompting many to share their reactions online. One user posted, "An earthquake measuring near 5.9 on the Richter scale hits Afghanistan, Delhi-NCR, Jammu & Kashmir, Lahore and Islamabad at approximately 9:47 PM on Friday. Another posted, "First the strange weather through the day and now tremors at night, hope everyone stays safe."
