LUCKNOW: Police have begun a probe into the charges of an acid attack on a woman who had allegedly been gang-raped and attacked with the corrosive liquid at least three times in the past. The woman, from Rae Bareli district , works at a restaurant to rehabilitate acid attack survivors . The woman and the two brothers have been involved in a property dispute since 2009.When the woman accused the two again, police found that the brothers were not in the city when the attack allegedly took place. "The woman was in a guarded hostel when the incident took place and CCTV footage failed to give us any clue. We would examine the medical report before booking anyone," a police officer said.
