YAN: Forty-nine students at a school here were rushed to the Yan Hospital after complaining of stomach ache, nausea and vomiting since early this morning. The students, aged between 15 and 17, were sent to the hospital by their teachers at 10am today . The SMK Guar Chempedak students were believed to have fallen ill after eating food at their hostel canteen on Tuesday evening. Yan district police chief Deputy Superintendant Mohd Halim Yatim in a statement said 47 of the students received outpatient treatment while two were warded at the hospital's observation ward after suffering diarrhoea and vomiting.
