KOTA BELUD: Forty-nine people from five villages have been evacuated when floods hit their areas since last night. The villages are Kampung Donggoi, Kampung Marajah, Kampung Gunding, Kampung Sadok-Sadok and Kampung Sembirai. The victims were sent to temporary relief centre at Tun Said Community Hall here, which was opened at 7pm yesterday. The water levels of Sungai Tempasuk is measured at warning level while Sungai Abai has reached the dangerous mark. In Kota Marudu, 37 flood evacuees from Kampung Bintasan Laut were allowed to return home this morning.
