47 in ICU as Kenya records 152 new cases


The number of Covid-19 cases in Kenya keeps rising with the total number of cases as of Saturday standing at 103,993. From the cases recorded, 137 are Kenyans while 15 are foreigners and in terms of gender, 104 are males and 48 are females. In terms of recoveries, eight patients have recovered, all of them from various health facilities, which brings the total number of recoveries to 85,540. There are 335 patients currently admitted in various health facilities countrywide, while 1,151 patients are on home based isolation and care. In terms of county distribution, Nairobi is again ahead with 105 cases, followed by Nakuru and Mombasa with eight cases each, Kiambu and Uasin Gishu with seven cases, Machakos and Taita Taveta have three cases each.
