Egypt’s Minister of Health Ahmad Emad Eddin said on Saturday that the government will in the coming three months open 42 women and obstetrics hospitals in 9 governorates located in Upper Egypt. He noted that the cost of the hospitals is LE265 million, adding that 2017 witnessed the inauguration of 35 hospitals with the cost of LE9.1 billion in different governorates in Egypt. On the new health Insurance law, he asserted that that the executive regulations of the Comprehensive Health Insurance Law will be issued on next Thursday. The minister’s statements came during a press conference held in Sharm El Sheikh, where he clarified that the three bodies of the Health Insurance Law are “Finance, Health Care and Supervision”.
