KARACHI: Sindh Chief Minister (CM) Syed Murad Ali Shah on Monday announced that 417 new coronavirus cases were detected in the province during the last 24 hours. In a statement issued from the CM House, the chief minister said that 2,571 tests were conducted against which 417 new cases emerged. “The government has tested 66,623 samples so far and diagnosed 7,882 cases which were 11.83 percent,” he said. Giving district breakup of Karachi, the chief minister said that out of 417 cases, 357 belonged to Karachi. The chief minister urged the people to observe social distancing and follow the SOP.
