4.5 magnitude earthquake jolts Tuensang, adjoining areas in Nagaland : Northeast, News


A strong 6.8 magnitude earthquake had struck northeast India on January 4 this year, sending panicked residents fleeing into the streets. ALSO READ: January 4, 2016 | 9 dead, 100 injured as 6.8 earthquake hits Northeast India Tuensang and its adjoining areas in Nagaland were jolted on Saturday night as a result of an earthquake having a magnitude of 4.5 on the Richter scale. The earthquake caused desperation among the locals. There were no reports of loss of any life or property.
