Sylhet Divisional Speedy Trial Tribunal Judge Rezaul Karim passed the order on Wednesday. The condemned convicts are: Imam of the local mosque Suwebur Rahman Sujon, Rafiqur Rahman, Zahid Ahmed, and Saleh Ahmad. The court also fined the convicts Tk20,000 each. Upon further interrogation and investigation police recovered a knife— plus the skull and bones of Imon—from a haor area in Batirkandi village.
