They ordered the taxi driver to drive off to an unknown destination as they threatened to kill the businessman. The four suspects were arrested by officers from Special Crimes Prevention Unit who had been investigating claims of robbery in Tassia. Also held is a taxi driver who drove them around the city as the torture and robbery happened. The arrests come just months after a another officer was arrested in October for kidnapping and demanding ransom. The arrested officer made headlines in September after he was arrested for arresting a Mali national at his residence in Kilimani before ransacking his house and robbing him of cash and goods worth Sh5.3million.
