Two persons, a man and his child, were said to have been carried away in a pick-up vehicle they were travelling by flooding water at Flamingo near Kaneshie Zongo Junction in Accra. The body of a man believed to have been drowned, was also discovered at Awudome after the rain stopped and the flooding water subsided. The heavy rains started in parts of Accra at about 5:30pm Sunday with thundering and lightening, leaving parts of the capital, mainly parts of Kaneshie, Kwame Nkrumah Circle, Avenor, Dansoman, and Darkuman flooded. The distribution lines of the Power Distribution Services (PDS) Ghana have caused power outages in most parts of Accra.
