FOUR people were injured when the helicopter they were riding crash-landed on Wednesday a few minutes after takeoff in South Cotabato, the Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines (CAAP) said. Dennis Figueroa and its three passengers – Dr. Jorge Gonzales and Cecilia Donaire, both foreigners; and a Filipina identified as Alica Bengco. Tupi police reported that the three passengers who were executives of DOLE Philippines were bound for the Surallah municipality. Quoting the same report, CAAP said the chopper’s pilot and its passengers were all safe but only sustained minor bruises when rescued. They were rushed to Howard Hubbard memorial Hospital in Polomolok, South Cotabato for further medical treatment.
