At least four people were killed and three injured in a head-on collision between a truck and a battery-powered autorickshaw on the Jamalpur-Mymensingh highway. The deceased have been identified as Solaiman, 55, Abdul Majid, 48, autorickshaw driver Zainal, and Shahed Ali. All of the deceased and injured are residents of Jamalpur. Jamalpur Sadar police station Officer-in-Charge Kazi Shahnewaz said that the truck has been seized but its driver managed to flee from the scene. A case has been filed in Jamalpur Sadar police station.
