more-inThe Delhi Police on Saturday arrested four persons, including 64-year-old Residents Welfare Association president, in connection with thrashing and assault on a Kashmiri family in south-east Delhi’s Sidharth Extension area. Deputy Commissioner of Police (South-East) Chinmoy Biswal confirmed that the four persons arrested are RWA president S.N. The complainant, 38-year-old man, had given a list with names of people which included Mr. Pandey and Mr. Kalyan. On the complaint of residents of Sunlight Colony, the police have registered a case under various sections of IPC against the other party, said Mr. Biswal. The RWA, on Friday, had claimed that the clash had nothing to do with the family’s Kashmiri identity.
