MAGUINDANAO, Philippines - Four policemen were hurt in another roadside bombing in Maguindanao on Tuesday morning, the 14th in the province in just two weeks. The injured SPO2 Mohammad Ampatuan, PO3 Ali Malok, PO3 Harim Ampatuan and PO1 Norodin Olympain, who sustained shrapnel wounds in different parts of their bodies, were immediately rushed to the Maguindanao provincial hospital in nearby Shariff Aguak town by responding soldiers. They all belong to the municipal police of Rajah Buayan, Maguindanao. Villagers have confirmed that BIFF gunmen were responsible for the bombing. Local officials said the attack was an apparent retaliation by the BIFF for heavy losses in recurring encounters with military units since Sunday in Datu Salibo town also in Maguindanao.
