FOUR Philippine universities again made it to the Top 200 list of Quacquarelli Symonds (QS) Asia University Ranking this year, among 687 institutions in the region. The university also achieved a near-perfect score for its reputation among international employers. QS noted that mainland China has the most number of universities included in the rankings, with 126 out of the 687 schools, followed by India and Japan as second and third, respectively. "This year also sees strong representation from South Korea and Taiwan," QS said. Nine other Philippine universities also made it to the rankings: Ateneo de Davao University (501-550), Mapúa University (501-550), Silliman University (501-550), Mindanao State University-Iligan State Institute of Technology (551-600), Central Luzon State University (601-650), Xavier University (601-650), Adamson University (651+), Cebu Technological University (651+), Central Mindanao University (651+), Central Philippine University (651+), and Lyceum of the Philippines University (651+).
