Ryan Rempel, Gage County 4-H member, attended the University of Nebraska-Lincoln Discover Engineering Big Red Camp in June. Big Red Academic Camps are open to youths going into grades 9-12 during the next school year. Thirteen different camp focuses were held in 2024. He stayed in Massengale Residence Hall on East Campus, rode the city bus from East Campus to City Campus and back, ate at Harper Dining Hall and the East Campus Union Dining Hall. He also was able to visit the East Campus Rec Center.
