CAMP VICENTE LIM, Laguna, Philippines — Four police officers were relieved from their posts in Cavite yesterday for sleeping while on duty. He said he took a photo of Sahurda, who was snoring while sleeping. The police officers were asked to submit a written explanation why they should not face administrative charges for neglect of duty. Philippine National Police chief Director General Oscar Albayalde vowed to relieve police officials whose men are caught texting and sleeping on the job. Albayalde had also conducted surprise inspections of police precincts and stations when he was Metro Manila police chief.
