The State Department for Diaspora Affairs has confirmed another batch of Kenyans has been evacuated from Lebanon. In a statement on Saturday, the department said 39 Kenyans have been successfully evacuated from the middle eastern country currently facing bombardment from Israel. “The multi-agency team led by Margaret Wamoto that is assisting in the evacuation exercise of Kenyans from Lebanon, yesterday saw off 39 Kenyans from Lebanon as they boarded their flight at the Rafic Hariri International Airport in Beirut,” the state statement read in part. The multi-agency team in Lebanon is helping evacuate Kenyans from Lebanon and making sure they arrive in Kenya safely. This comes after a group of 55 Kenyans were also evacuated from Lebanon earlier this month.
