Meanwhile, the country has logged more than 186,000 Covid-19 cases with 3,099 people having tested positive over the same period. The mortality rate against the total number of cases detected so far stands at 1.28%. The DGHS official said that 12,358 samples were collected from suspected Covid-19 patients between Sunday and Monday mornings. However, the latest figures depict an infection rate of 24.95%, which is the highest till date. Till date, no fewer than 952,947 tests have been conducted in the country, leading to a whopping 19.61% infection rate as of yet.
