Tonight, an American woman told her story of being a woman in America, and gave a speech that no woman has given before. The reactions to Clinton’s speech from women on Twitter were good enough to remind us why women endure being on Twitter. Tonight, Hillary Clinton formally accepted the Democratic nomination for president, becoming the first woman presidential nominee in American history. Nearly 100 years after American women were granted the right to vote, a woman has asked us to vote for her to become president of the United States. For the first time in our nation’s history, a woman could feasibly lead our nation come November.
