38 horses stolen from Libya’s Al Shaab Stud rescued


Thirty-eight of the 59 horses stolen in a raid at Al Shaab Stud in Libya, were rescued by the United Nations-backed Government of National Accord. When they were returned to the farm, an overly grateful, emotional Doctor Amad Ashaab, received them. The stud was seized by a group tied to insurgents of the Libyan National Army. There are still twenty-one horses at large, including Eavesdropper, Churchill Downs, and, Backdraft.
