Additional Divisional Commissioner of Dhaka Md Selim Reza confirmed the number to the Dhaka Tribune around 4:30pm on Thursday. "It is taking time for us to identify the bodies, as all of them have been severely burned in the fire," Selim said. The victims whose bodies were collected by their family members are-- Shahdat Hossian, Helal Uddin, Kamal Hossain, Owasi Uddin, Jummon, Ali Hossain, Yamin Khan Roni, Hafez Md. The bodies have been transferred to the Dhaka Medical College and Hospital (DMCH) morgue. Over 60 injured victims have received treatment at the DMCH and Mitford hospitals.
