Government to move a bill in provincial assemblyPESHAWAR: The Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa (K-P) cabinet on Monday approved the regularisation of the services of 37,000 contract-based teachers across the province. The teachers had been recruited on contract basis by the K-P Elementary and Secondary Education Department over the last four years through a National Testing Service exam. They would be regularised through a bill to be tabled in the K-P Assembly. It transferred the powers of the Infrastructure Development Cess to make collections to the Department of Excise and Taxation from the Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa (K-P) Revenue Authority. K-P education dept to get separate service actThe cabinet approved the Board of Governors of Health Foundation, and directed that a final summary should be routed for formal approval.
