34 is critical age for female fertility: Ministry of Health and WelfareWomen over the age of 34 face difficulty getting pregnant, according to analysis in a report released by the Ministry of Health and Welfare's Health Promotion Administration. He said the average age of women receiving ART treatment was previously 32, but the figure had now risen. In the last two years, women between the ages of 36-37 comprised a majority of those receiving ART treatment. In the 41-52 age group, only 16 percent of women receiving ART treatment recorded a successful pregnancy. Accordingly, the age of 34 has become a critical juncture for female fertility, the report showed.
