Recovery efforts had resumed early Monday at the Nithi River bridge. “The bus must have developed brake failure because it was moving at a very high speed when the accident happened,” he said. Those who witnessed the accident also said the bus could have developed brake failure as it went down the Nithi slope. Most of the accidents have been blamed on brake failure.
